Bridal Heritage · Hyderabad

If you love Anupamaa by Aparna, you'll feel at home in Hyderabad

A heritage Hyderabad trousseau is usually four pieces, with a few extras around the edges. The muhurtham Kanjivaram, the reception Banarasi or Paithani, the gifting layer (Patola, Pochampally, Gadwal), and the lighter second-day drape. Our job is to help you choose them so they live well together, on palette, on weight, and on the conversations they'll start at every event.

How brides usually shop here

First visit, we don't sell. We pull thirty sarees around your palette, you sit with chai for an afternoon, and you go home with three shortlisted pieces in your head. Most brides come back the following week to commit.

The four pillars

Muhurtham: pure-zari korvai Kanjivaram, usually a deep red or maroon. Reception: kadhua Banarasi Shikargah, Jangla, or a tissue Kimkhwab. Gifting layer: Patan Patola, Paithani, Pochampally, Gadwal. Second-day: a lighter Banarasi or soft Kanjivaram with a simpler border.

Blouses, designed in-house

Zardozi, cutdana, aari, kundan, chikankari. Sixteen-point body chart on the first visit, muslin trial within two weeks, embroidery on the silk only after the muslin sits the way you want. Four to eight weeks for a fully hand-embroidered bridal blouse. If anything needs to move later, we re-cut without an argument.

What the whole trousseau usually costs

Five to ten sarees plus blouses, often a custom lehenga, usually lands between four and eighteen lakh. The range is wide because an heirloom Patola or a bridal Shikargah can move the number a lot.
