Temple jewellery (Lakshmi haar, kaasu malai, jhumka, vanki) is the natural companion to bridal Kanjivaram with korvai temple borders. The motif language matches, gopuram on the necklace echoes gopuram on the border. South Indian brides traditionally pair temple gold with red, mustard, peacock blue or arakku (deep maroon) Kanjivaram. Get the metal-tone of the temple set checked against the zari before finalising either.
