Saree & Jewellery Pairing · Hyderabad

If you love Kalanjali, you'll feel at home in Hyderabad

Krishna Pearls. Musaddilal. Hiya. Tibarumal. Kothari. Kalanjali. Manepally. Hyderabad's jewellery houses each have their own vocabulary, and the saree is what makes the polki, kundan or temple gold actually sing on the day. We pair around whichever house your family is anchored to, bring photos, or bring the pieces themselves.

Heritage handloom jewellery-pairing saree at Trisha Silks Hyderabad

Polki and kundan, with Banarasi and Kanjivaram

Uncut diamond polki sits best against deep maroon, oxblood and wine, the bridal Kimkhwab and pure-zari Kanjivaram palette. We pull pieces around the bridal choli, the maang tikka, and the maathaa patti specifically.

Temple gold, with Kanjivaram

Temple jewellery (Lakshmi haar, kasu mala, jadanagam) is woven of the same temple-motif vocabulary as the Kanjivaram korvai border. We curate the saree palette around the temple-gold set the family is bringing.

Pearls, with lighter sarees

Hyderabad pearls, Basra, South Sea, freshwater, pair with the lighter handloom Banarasi, organza chikankari, Chanderi and Maheshwari shelves. Sangeet, mehendi, second-day reception.

How the pairing visit works

Bring the jewellery (or photographs) to the salon. We pull fifteen to twenty sarees that harmonise with each major set. Photographs at the salon, for your record.
