Patan Patola Double Ikat in Rani Pink

Patan Patola is woven by the Salvi family in Gujarat — and only by them. Warp and weft are both tied, dyed in eight baths, and woven to interlock at every cross of thread. There is no error allowed; the motif is the weave. This rani-pink piece carries the classic elephant-parrot-flower motif, identical front and back. Order book runs three years deep.
