Temple-Bordered Kanjivaram in Arakku Maroon
Atelier price · ₹1,75,000 (GST extra)
Korvai — the three-shuttle interlock that makes a Kanjivaram what it is. The body, border, and pallu are each woven separately and locked together on the loom, never stitched. This piece is arakku, the brick-red of temple stone, with a contrast mustard border carrying a rekku and gopuram temple pattern. The pallu shifts to mustard with a paisley motif and a fine annam band along the edge. A muhurtam saree in the South Indian tradition.
