Satin Tanchoi Banarasi in Mehfil Blue

Tanchoi is the Banarasi that wears like satin — five shuttles of fine resham building a self-pattern so dense the ground appears woven of motif itself. Mehfil blue here is a Bombay-1940s indigo, with paisley birds in old gold and ivory threaded across the entire field. The pallu carries a wider banded paisley with a hand-finished tassel; the absence of heavy zari makes the saree fluid enough to pleat in seconds.
