Styled by Trisha

A saree is never alone.

For every Indian occasion, the saree, the blouse, the drape and the jewellery are a single composition. These are the pairings we build in the atelier, drawn from years of dressing brides, mothers, and worldwide patrons of Trisha Silks.

Phera, Sangeet, Reception

The North Indian Bride

A pure-zari kadhua Banarasi in deep red, persimmon or ivory, with a fully hand-embroidered blouse, kundan-polki choker and the lehenga-style pallu drape. For the sangeet, an organza Banarasi in pastel with a sequinned blouse keeps the silhouette light enough to dance in.

The Reception Saree

Tissue silk, organza Banarasi or kora with sequins, ivory or champagne base, hand-embroidered border. Paired with a corset or backless blouse, diamond or polki ear-jacket, and a low-pleated nivi drape with the pallu fanned out long.

Intimate, photographed up close

The Engagement / Roka

Chanderi, Maheshwari or a soft Banarasi tanchoi in pastel pink, sage or champagne. A delicate sweetheart-neck blouse, soft polki studs, dewy skin. The drape is loose pleats with the pallu pinned softly.

Evening receptions, sangeets, parties

The Cocktail Saree

A sequinned organza, a draped pre-stitched satin silk, or a hand-painted Patola, with a high-neck halter or backless blouse. The drape leans modern: dhoti-style, pant-saree, or a high-pleated nivi with a flowing pallu.

Family lunches, day functions

Festive Daywear

Pure cotton Jamdani, Chanderi, Maheshwari or a soft handloom Banarasi. A simple round-neck blouse, jhumkas, fresh flowers in the hair. The drape is the relaxed nivi with shallow pleats and a long pallu over the shoulder.
